I'm Building a Home Library 📚
👋 Hey Reader,
I wanted to give you a quick personal update as the year winds down.
As some of you know, the building I was planning to move Edgewater Bookstore into fell through at the last minute. Because of that—and because I had already canceled my current lease—I suddenly found myself without a place to work, podcast, and make YouTube videos. 😜 Not ideal, but life has a way of redirecting us when we least expect it.
So, since my oldest son moved out about a year ago, I’ve decided to turn his old bedroom into my new office and home library. The last few days have been spent ripping up carpet, building bookcases, painting walls, and slowly reimagining the space where a lot of reading, writing, and thinking will happen. It’s been exhausting and incredibly fun at the same time. I’ll share more photos and a fuller update soon.
With Christmas just around the corner, I’m planning to take the rest of the year off to be with family, rest a bit, and read. I want to wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas and a peaceful end to the year.
Thank you, as always, for reading alongside me. I’m deeply grateful for this community, and I’m already looking forward to reading with you all in 2026. The newsletter will return on January 7.
Happy New Year!!! 🎉
📚 Until next time, read slowly - take notes - apply the ideas.
