Class Limit: 92 seats left

We’re reading one of the greatest novellas ever written—and I’m inviting you to read it with me, one day at a time.
Over 30 days during November 2025, I’ll guide you through The Death of Ivan Ilych by Leo Tolstoy—live each weekday morning. I’ll show you exactly how I take notes, highlight key ideas, and journal from the books that shape me. You’ll get a front-row seat to my real-time reading process and leave with a lifelong system you can use for every important book you read next.

📘 Why The Death of Ivan Ilych?

Leo Tolstoy’s The Death of Ivan Ilych is not just a story about dying—it’s a mirror held up to how we live.

In fewer than 100 pages, Tolstoy delivers one of the most honest, unsettling, and transformative works ever written about success, denial, fear, and the search for meaning. It’s a book that forces us to ask:

What if I’ve spent my whole life doing what was expected… but not what truly mattered?

That’s why we’re starting here.

By reading slowly, taking notes, and reflecting together, we’ll not only study a literary masterpiece—we’ll use it to examine our own lives. What does it mean to live authentically? To make peace with time? To choose depth over distraction?

This isn’t just a reading class.
It’s a chance to pause and realign—one quiet morning at a time.

If I'm a member of your book club, am I already enrolled in this class?

Unfortunately, this is a separate course designed to help raise money for my new bookstore! See below. 👇🏻 As such, book club membership does not cover the cost of this one-time course.

Is there a limit to the number of students that can register?

I am using Zoom for the event, and my account limits me to 100 participants. Once the seats are full, I’ll close registration.

If this class speaks to you, I’d encourage you to reserve your spot sooner rather than later. I’d love to have you with us.
